Planning for the future of the Knox Economy
The Integrated City Strategy consolidates strategic direction to assist Council and community partners to achieve the Knox Vision and City Plan (including Council Plan) by combining the Community Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2013-17, Economic Development Strategy 2008-18, Sustainable Environment Strategy 2008-18 and elements of the Council Plan.
It adopts a dynamic and integrated model of practice to enable Council and a diverse range of partners to work together to achieve Knox’s aspirations. Council’s services play a major role in the achievement of the Knox Vision and City Plan and will be implemented in unison with the Integrated City Strategy.
The Strategy contains 15 ‘integrated strategies’ which prioritise Council and the community’s work to enhance community health and wellbeing, economic development, environmental sustainability and the built environment by strategically building on Knox’s strengths and addressing its challenges.
