This month (November 2019), Caribbean Business Park will welcome its latest resident, Edgepoint Homes.
Having just celebrated its 10th anniversary, this medium density residential builder has grown considerably since its first construction job in Ferntree Gully.
Back then the company had four staff. Now it has 62 employees and at any one time you could expect to see around 250 trades and suppliers on Edgepoint sites under the direction of its managers.
Specialising in the efficient construction of larger multi-unit developments, the company is on track to complete more than 450 homes this year. But quantity doesn’t compromise on quality, which is evidenced by a recent HIA Award for Townhouse Villa of the Year.
Dana Christiansen, Edgepoint’s Office Manager, said the move from Clayton to Scoresby was necessary to accommodate a larger working environment for its growing team.
“The success of Edgepoint comes down to the hard work of our dedicated team and their passion to grow with the business, always developing new and better ways to service our customers and streamline the building process.” Dana said.
Giving back is also very important for the company, having been participants for a number of years in the Peter Mac Tour De Cure Ride, raising well over $150,000 for the cause.
