People First - Supporting the inclusion of people with disability

This 40-page guide is designed to support those with little or no experience of disability to be comfortable and inclusive in their interactions with people who have a disability.

It features profiles of people with a disability showcasing the benefits of inclusive practice.

It also has brief guides to inclusion for each of the major types of disability, a brief overview of the legal context, an explanation of the social model of disability, general tips and advice, links to further information, resources and contacts, support guidelines, FAQs, and links to the Knox Access Keys.
