Hospitality jobs with paid training now available
Jobs Victoria is supporting small and medium sized businesses to recruit and train 500 jobseekers to address staff shortages.
Jobs Victoria is partnering with the Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN) to support people looking for work into hospitality jobs throughout Victoria.
Workers will receive paid hospitality training such as food handling, barista and responsible service of alcohol training, uniforms and tools of the trade. They will also get wrap around support throughout the program including mentoring to ensure they are supported to succeed on the job and set up for a new career in the industry.
Expressions of interest are invited from enthusiastic, motivated individuals interested in hospitality work and undertaking on-the-job training.
Focusing particularly encourage women over 45, people from multicultural backgrounds, Aboriginal people, people with disability and young people to apply.
Multiple positions are available across Melbourne. Immediate starts are available for candidates.
