Planning for the future of the Knox Economy

The Knox Community and Council Plans are our commitment to make Knox a great place now and into the future. Created with our community, these plans guide Council's current activities, policies and programs of work.

The new Community and Council Plans

Over the last 18 months, Council worked with the community and various stakeholders to develop:

  • the new Community Plan 2021-31
  • the Council Plan 2021-25 (including the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan)

Council adopted these plans on 25 October 2021.

Through forums, focus groups and surveys, you told us what you love about Knox and what you want it to be like in the future. We've developed these plans based on your feedback.

Knox Demograhics

Knox Economy Profile in REMPLAN presents a snapshot of the Knox economy including an overview of workforce characteristics, industry contributions and trends in the local economy. Data is displayed via graphs, tables and interactive maps together with easy to understand explanations and commentary. Knox Community Demographics provides access to a wide variety of data on the Knox community. The data is presented in easy to use tables, charts and commentary and is designed to assist community groups, Council, investors, business, students and the general public to become more informed about the community.
