Register to attend National Tree Day

Friday, 22nd July 2022

Knox City Council coordinates a tree planting event each year - a day for the community where everyone can get involved, and another for businesses to come together and network whilst making a positive difference in the local environment and community.

There are a host of reasons why trees are good for the environment, not least of which is their ability to improve air quality, mask urban noise and beautify surroundings, which helps attract business to the area.  The plants will provide valuable habitat and food sources for local wildlife and will build on existing habitat to extend wildlife corridors.
