Business Awards

The Knox Business Network, supported by the Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield, welcomes you to our first-ever Knox Business Awards.This is an opportunity for those businesses in Knox to be recognised for their efforts in the revival.

Entries are free and are open for all those businesses in the Knox district until the close of business on Sunday 30th June 2024. The finalists for the awards will be judged in the following months by independent judges with the winners announced upon completion of the judging. Final dates will be announced when known, closer to the event.

Biz month

The Industry Growth Program connects small businesses with an Industry Growth Program Adviser. The Adviser will provide specialised advice for businesses undertaking innovative commercialisation and/or growth projects.

If your business is in agriculture, transport, medical science or one of the other priority areas supporting Australia’s manufacturing you may be eligible. Small businesses can apply for:

  • grants of $50,000 to $250,000 to support early-stage commercialisation projects
  • grants of $100,000 to $5 million for commercialisation and growth projects.

Monash university industry experience program

Monash university industry experience program

Are you a home based business looking to take things to the next level?  Or a business owner overwhelmed with administrative tasks, preventing you grow your business?

Monash University is offering a FREE 14 week program during July 2024, designed to benefit small to medium-sized businesses to learn more about how I.T. can be used to support their business. Through this program, final-year information technology students will work with businesses, mostly through online meetings, to create customised computer systems that address specific needs.
