Keynote Speaker – Lisa McInnes Smith
Lisa McInnes Smith is Queen of the corporate stage and a master of audience participation. Along her incredible journey, Lisa has presented to more than one million adults across twenty-two countries and authored seven best-selling books.
Lisa is also the first person outside of the USA to ever be inducted into the international Speaker Hall of Fame - the highest designation possible in the speaking world. This international recognition from clients and peers alike is due to her extraordinary gift to communicate, connect and transform.
Lisa was raised in a family of high achievers in the sporting world and grew up observing what separates achievers from the rest. It was natural that she would study Sports Psychology, but what wasn't natural was her desire and ability to take what she learned about peak sporting performance and apply it to people in all walks of life. During a brief period of adversity, Lisa set herself a goal to positively impact the lives of one million Australian teenagers. It had the potential to be a lifetime goal but took just eight and a half years. Throughout that period, businesspeople and corporations also embraced her message, recognising its effectiveness and impact on the attitudes and mindsets of their teams.
Lisa's focus is what it takes to create a tangible shift - whether it be shifting an attitude, shifting direction, shifting behaviour or shifting outcomes. She also knows that people don't come to conferences just to learn; they also want to be truly engaged. Lisa has developed a unique process of teaching her principles. Her fast-paced keynote presentations take her audience on a journey, an unforgettable experience where they are challenged to embrace a new way of thinking about, and seeing, their current world. They are touched and inspired to grow.
Twenty-five years of commitment to her craft and her audiences have placed Lisa in the top echelon of corporate keynote speakers in this country. She is a true keynote specialist and a master of large audiences, her largest audience to date being 33,000 people packed into one auditorium!
Lisa speaks regularly throughout Australia, Asia, NZ and the USA. She has shared the stage with two American Presidents, one Vice President and a host of celebrity entertainers, including the late Ray Charles.
Local business guest speakers
Jordyn Evans (Mingle Seasoning)
Jordyn is the Founder of flavoursome food brand, Mingle. Mingle is shaking things up in the supermarket aisles with healthy flavoursome food options that are free from nasties. Mingle launched 5 years ago when Jordyn struggled to find healthy seasonings in the supermarket. Most commonly she found the seasonings contained added sugar, artificial ingredients, fillers and high amounts of sodium. She wanted a healthier seasoning in supermarkets that had all the flavour without the nasties. So at 25 years old she sold her car, moved back home and put her life's savings into creating a flavoursome brand all Australians could trust and love. Being surrounded by small business from a young age, Jordyn learnt the fundamentals of business and hard work from her Dad and Grandpa
who both ran their own businesses. Developing food products, however, with no food technology or manufacturing background and selling to supermarkets was certainly not part of the original plan when at university studying Japanese, Chinese and Accounting. Yep, Jordyn's journey certainly hasn't been a straight linear one, but it sure has been tasty!
5 years on, Mingle now has product stocked in Coles, Woolworths, Countdown NZ, 400+ health food stores in Australia and has more than 15 products in their range including seasonings, recipe meal bases and healthy sauces. With a whole lot of grit, resilience
and hard work, Jordyn is shaking things up in the food industry and this is just the beginning!
Natalie Wild (Redefine Life)
Natalie Wild is CEO and founder of Redefine Life and Collaborative Spaces, Registered Counsellor, Counselling Supervisor, Workplace Trainer, Motivational Speaker, and is on the founding committee for Simple Steps Solutions Inc.
Natalie has been working in the mental health field for 16 years, initially in the not-for-profit sector, and in July 2013, branched out to explore and create user friendly mental health support options for individuals, workplaces and the broader community. These individually adaptable developmental tools and solutions are now delivered through, workplace training programs, a community low-cost counselling program, motivational speaking events, mediation services, and through collaborations with like-minded professionals. An online learning program is also in preproduction, so, whether you are a person who enjoys self-improvement, or for a precursor to workplace training, watch this space!
As a volunteer, Natalie has been an instrumental contributor in the development of Simple Steps Solutions Inc.; a philanthropically funded program to support the gaps in our current government Mental Health systems, by reducing the long waiting lists for those in need through contracted counsellors and community donations and grants, alongside the Rotary Club of Knox. Knox City Council has been instrumental in this program through their grants, enabling over 100 Counselling sessions funded for the youth in our local area.
