About this event
Best Practice in Automating Contractor Management
How a process approach helps managing risk from on-boarding to on-site
Presenter - Phil Wallis - LinkSafe
Recent trends in management systems have seen adoption of a process approach, rather than an exceeding reliance on complex, documented procedures. In addition, ISO QMS now places greater emphasis on empowerment of personnel, flatter organisational structures and governance based on factual data information.
If you would like to see what ‘best practice’ in vendor and contractor management can look like, join us for this upcoming afternoon session, where Phil will illustrate some of the limitations of manual systems, touch on specific responsibilities in managing suppliers and outline how interoperability can be key to closing gaps.
Phil Wallis - Phil recently joined LinkSafe after 30 years in the Energy Sector having held Business Transformation, General Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Process Improvement and Operational Safety Responsibilities across multi-national companies in New Zealand, Singapore and USA. The examples Phil will talk about will draw on his experience with business improvement projects at Origin Energy.
Registrations close 5pm, Monday 7 June.
This meeting will be streamed live via MS Teams. An online link will be sent to all attendees before the meeting.
