We invite you to join us for our next community meeting, which is scheduled for:

Date: Wednesday, 17 January

Location: Online

Time: 6pm - 7pm

During this in person meeting, we'll delve into the following exciting topics:

  • Feedback for April activations.
  • Upcoming activations for Jan, Feb and March.
  • Enroll in skill enhancement opportunities, networking events, courses, and mentorship programs to elevate your professional development.
  •

Thank you all for dedicating your time to our recent traders' meeting. For those unable to join, we've prepared a comprehensive recap for your reference.

Community Health and Safety Discussion:

  • The police emphasised the health perspective of homelessness and alcohol-related issues. Which we are looking into connecting support services to the people affected.
  • Urged proactive communication with the police.  Police urging everyone to report issues promptly: Call 131 444 for non-urgent matters and 000 for emergencies.
  • Encouraged the use of Crime Stoppers for reporting graffiti, underage sales, and drug-related activities.

Opportunity for a Boronia traders group:

If you're enthusiastic about establishing a lasting Boronia Traders Association, the opportune moment has arrived to initiate its formation. With our current program in Boronia we have a capacity and resources to facilitate the setup, but the crucial element is garnering support and buy-in from our traders. To ensure the success of this endeavour, we must commence our efforts asap. Your involvement is pivotal in bringing this initiative to fruition. Please let us know if you are interested.

Ideas for Workshops and Training:

  • Potential workshop on tenants' rights for business tenants.
  • Visual merchandising workshop.
  • Business mentoring sessions.
  • Detailed digital marketing workshops covering skills such as SEO, Canva, and Facebook ads.

We look forward to seeing you there and to the engaging discussions and creative ideas that will emerge.

Your active participation is what makes our community thrive. Together, we can create a vibrant and supportive environment for all.
